She hates Curly because of his jealousy and that she is now not allowed to talk to any of the workers on the ranch because he has say so. She had no one to talk to because she has caused a lot of gravel in the past. Not a soul mourned her when she passed away. People vista she was no good living as Curley says to her, You god goddamned tramp, very rude and abrupt showing no respect. People didnt like her and she was very sad and lonely.
