The Political Dimension of the religious belief
The Political Dimension of the Faith was a spoken language written by Archbishop Oscar Romero. He presented this speech because he was being rewarded unearned doctorate by the University of Louvain, in Belgium, a couple months before he was assassinated. Romero spoke for his solid ground El Salvador, in Latin America. His speech was about the socio-political aspects of the church, and his profound focus was on the despicable people in his uncouth and how the world treated them.
Archbishop Oscar Romero starts his speech by thanking everyone at the University of Louvain for this honorary doctorate and for letting him sh be his experiences as a Salvadorean Christian and pastor. He starts to refer to his country as a Third World country, a world that the church inescapably to serve and fight for all the suffering people that see in it. The poor tells us what the world is, what the churchs service should be and what it means for the church to live in that world. Romero starts to describe the most demoralizing and demeaning life these poor people live. They have a high rate of infant mortality, lack of adequate housing, health problems, starvation wages, unemployment, underemployment, malnutrition, no electricity, no types of insurance and much more.



The churchs encounter with the poor has brought one of the main truths of the gospel, which is to proclaim the Good News to the poor. unmatched of the beatitudes explains it, The Kingdom of God is yours at hand, blessed are you who are the poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours. In other words, God offers to bang the poor and the church incarnates itself to give these people hope and entertain them.
By the church reason the poor, it had caused serious conflict with the political power and military authorities of El Salvador. By defending the poor, church leaders and church followers were being attacked, threatened, and wrong accused.
