Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17, 1706 in Boston, Massachusetts to Josiah Franklin and Abiah and was baptised moments afterwards his birth at Old S push throughh church building (Franklin xvii). Being i of seventeen children, Ben only attended childlike school for two years before he was interpreted out due to financial difficulties. After he was taken from school, Ben worked with his father making soap and candles. At age twelve, Ben went to work for his sidekick, jam, as an apprentice at the print shop where James worked.
