Hypothesis:

If I fold a study carpenters plane into 6 folds, then it will fly further, because of its unique size of it and structure.

Purpose:

The purpose of this activity is to
gather some baseline information, make one multivariate and test
the results, make another variable and test the results,
choose a study plane conception that they believe will fly the
farthest and test the results, graphical record the longest and average
distances flown for severally of motif plane trails.

Materials:

Tough whippersnapper paper for making airplanes (copy paper works wonderfully)
Tape Measure
set down Tape
Graph Paper
Pencil or Pen
Scissors

Procedure:

1) First, you will fate to make six contrary patterns of planes for this paper airplane wisdom fair project.
2) Make two airplanes from each pattern.
3) Use the scissors hold to cut the paper into assorted sizes.
4) Fold as you would with a regular paper plan, but they must have different folds.
5) Make two of each different fold.
6) When you are through with(p) folding, you should have two of each of the following: 5 folded, 6 folded, 7 folded, 8 folded, 9 folded, and 10 folded.
7) Write those different folds on the paper planes, so you will know which is which.

9) Measure in inches, yards, or feet.
10) Do about four throws for each plan.

12) Measure the length the distance for each plan with the tape measurer.
13) Repeat the process for each paper plan.
14) Record the results.
Independent Variable:

The number of folds in the paper airplane.

Dependent Variable:

How far the paper airplanes will fly.
